MFW Adventures, Week 7

Another fun week! We learned lots again this week and did lots of crafts!

Bible:

Bible verses we learned:
  • Memory Verse: John 6:35

What we learned:
  • We learned about Elijah and the woman that was faithful to the Lord and what happened when she chose to obey Him.
  • Learned more about Communion (Last Supper) and what it means to us and why we do it.
  • Unleavened bread vs. yeast bread
  • Yeast symbolizes sin
We were supposed to make a napkin holder but our napkins are on a roll. So, I changed things up a bit and he made this to hang on a door knob or his ceiling fan chain. This is one side.

This is the other side.

Other happenings this week:
I love my baby, too! And yes, I realize he spelled Mommy wrong. We talked about it.

What's he up to now?

Working on math.

He's starting to like drawing.

This is Dotty!!! We had to put her up for a minute or two while we tended to our corn.

Early, early morning! At least Daddy was nice enough to fix him some chocolate milk.

I decided to join him in his art efforts. We had a lot of fun!

Again...I joined in!

He named his characters.

More math!

Homemade sugar cookies and my husband's favorite, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies...they were almost gone at this point.

Working on alphabetizing

Talking about the Bible verses and what God says about courage, strength, and bravery after finishing up The Courage of Sarah Noble.
