Week 9 - Thanksgiving

This will be a super quick picture update of our week 9-Thanksgiving. This does absolutely no justice to what we learned and everything we took the time to do but it's better than nothing. This will teach me to fall behind in my blogging. Sorry folks!

George Washington tricorn hat

We added George Washington to our timeline.

George Washington was made into a hippy.

Tongue tattoo! Don't ask! lol

This is the front of a birthday card we made for my nephew.

This was the inside and the picture is of my nephew. We had so much fun doing this.

This is a glow stick in the bottom of a bubble bath. I know, what does this have to do with schooling?

This was one of the great books we read this past week.
To add to the great book, he made the circle of life for an Oak Tree. If you are interested, you can find the life cycle printouts HERE.

Other books we read:

Thanksgiving Words and Alphabetical Order Worksheet.........you can find it HERE.

This was just for fun. You can find it HERE.

I found these really cute worksheets for to, too, and two somewhere on the internet but I can't seem to find my link. If anyone knows, please share. I would love to give credit to the person who created these.

Here's some more of the books we read:

This was a fun, interactive activity made to display the changing seasons. You can find this HERE.

We made a book of seasons. I loved this! I borrowed the idea from 2 different places. Here they are:  HERE  and  HERE.

I know, I know...he still needs to fill in his favorite season. lol He couldn't make up his mind.
